Phone insurance is part of the insurance products that Gadget Cover offer. They also provide cover for laptops, tablets, smartwatches and more.. Their cover protects you against accidental damage, mechanical breakdown and theft. Loss cover is offered as optional for an extra £1 on top of their monthly or annual premium.

Is Gadget Cover phone insurance worth it?

If you would like to insure more than one gadget on one single policy, Gadget Cover might be a good option for you as Insurance2Go do not currently provide multi-gadget policies. You could however purchase multiple separate policies to insure any extra gadgets that you might have. However, you would still need to check what else is included in the insurance cover to determine which one is best for you.

What is the difference between Gadget Cover & our insurance?

With Gadget Cover, you’d need to make sure that you are aware of the excess amount that you would need to pay in the event of an approved claim, which is based on the original cost of your gadget. Our excess amounts are given to you at the time of purchase. Below you can find the key differences between the two covers which will help you decide which cover to choose.

When can I purchase insurance? Insurance can be bought at anytime as long as your gadget is less than 18 months old. Insurance can be bought at anytime as long as your gadget is less than 36 months old.
How much is the excess?
  • The excess is based on device value when bought brand new.
