Is Bank of Scotland’s phone insurance worth it?

Their Platinum Account can be worth it depending on the amount of phones that you want to insure. Cover can be provided for one mobile phone for sole account holders and up to two phones for joint account holders. There is a monthly fee of £21 for maintaining the account, which also comes with AA Breakdown, Travel Insurance, and Cardloss Assistance.

Some accounts offer you a discount or a refund on a proportion of the fee if you pay in a set amount each month, but this varies between suppliers.
