Apple have reported the most prfitable quarter in its history. The company reported profits of $3.38 billion in the quarter to end of december. If you annualise the quarterly revenue the company is a $50 billion company.
Apple sold 21 million iPods in the quarter. Internaional sales accounted for 58% of their sales. The year ahead looks to be another strong year beginning with an announcement tomorrow widely tipped to be the iSlate, a cross between an iTouch and a Mac book.
Streetcar have announced the launch of an iPhone application that will allow customers to locate the nearest available car and unlock the vehicle using their phone. The unlocking is done by customers sliding their fingers across the iPhone screen when the user is in the application. Good evening Mr Bond.
