Mobile Cod
A man has been reunited with his Nokia mobile phone after it was found inside a 4 foot cod. Andrew Cheatle had been playing with his dog on the beach when it slipped out of his pocket. He thought that was it and he’d never see it again.
Then trawlerman Glen Kerley found the phone a week later when he was gutting a 25lb four foot cod, he took out the SIM card and made some calls to see if he could reunite the phone with it’s owner. Amazingly when Andrew got the phone back he dried it out and it worked.
The poor cod must have had a shock when he ate the phone not exactly a tasty meal. We had some questions: Was the phone on vibrate? Were calls made to the phone when in the fish’s tummy? What’s the coverage like under the sea.
