iPhone users can now make Free calls
iPhone users are now able to make free calls as Skype becomes available on the iPhone for the first time. The internet telephone service has over 450 million subscribers globally.
The service will be available on Blackberrys from May and it has also announced that Skype for Nokia phones will also be available.
This is an interesting development as it could mean a massive reduction in revenue for the Mobile phone operators if customers begin to use Skype on their mobiles more and more.
Skype can also be used on iPod Touch units via the wi-fi application available on the units.
