Spinvox losses grow

The Sunday Times in the UK is reporting that full year losses at Spinvox, the company that converts voicemails to test messages, have grown from £37 million in 2007 to £49 million in 2008.

Spinvox has hit the headines for all the wrong reasons recently including allegations of financial mismanagment which were sent anonymously to investors.

Nokia to launch laptops

Nokia, the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer, is to move into the laptop market. It’s first offering is likely to be in the fast growing netbook market.

O2 - top of the pile

Ofcom have announced that O2 is now the largest telecoms provider in the UK overtaking BT for the first time. O2 now have 20% of the market whilst BT have 19%. This is a massive turnaround especially when you consider that O2 were once owned by BT.
